Members and Friends,
We are pleased to announce that the annual meeting of the Oregon GNSS Users Group will be held on Friday, June 17, at the Danny Lang Center at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon. Our current Chair, Ken Hoffine, has assembled a variety of presenters and topics, including presentations by the following:
As always, the meeting is free to members, as is lunch, snacks, beverages, and a light breakfast. We expect 5 PDH contact hours will be available for attendees who require them for their profession. If you do plan on attending, please RSVP to me at chris@munson-assoc.com with your full first and last name, as well as birthdate so that we have enough seats and food for everyone. Your name and birthdate will be shared with Umpqua Community College for educational reporting purposes as required by the State of Oregon and will not be used for any other purposes by OGUG. Only the Secretary of OGUG and Umpqua Community College will be privy to this information, and it will be used for this event only; it will not be part of your membership record. If you have previously expressed interest in attending our meeting, please RSVP again, as we will start our official attendance list today.
If you aren’t currently a member of the Oregon GNSS Users Group, please consider joining us. We advocate for all of those who utilize GNSS systems professionally in Oregon. Membership is a bargain at only $12/year. Members are entitled to attend our semi-annual meetings/presentations for free, and we also hold occasional full-day workshops on current GNSS topics. A link to start or renew your membership is here: http://www.ogug.net/membership-info.html.
And please, forward this announcement to your peers and co-workers who use GNSS in their professions as well—we’d be glad to have them join us.
Hope to see you next month!
